THE BIG LOUD WORK

Obviously, this was delayed because you can still hear each other. The demolition glitches should be settled and the walls literally will be coming off the corner later this week – either Thursday or Friday. Administration will be looking at alternate “quiet” space in the basement during this phase. Individual update emails will be sent out as information is received from ACI. Again, if you need accommodation to your schedule or workplace during this phase, please notify your supervisor.

THE EXTERIOR

Drawings of the proposed exterior, including recommendations for colors, will be presented next week to staff, the Library Board and the community. When I receive copies of the drawings, I will post them in the conference room and invite staff to “check it out.” The library hopes to go out to bid to begin the renovation of our entrance, the upgrade of the exterior and the redesign of the landscaping by the end of June.
