Second floor renovation activity requires that portions of the collection be temporarily blocked off to patrons. Staff may enter these areas to retrieve requested items for patrons if activity is not in progress and it is safe to do so. Otherwise, apologize for the inconvenience and say that the area is unavailable to enter at this time. Don't forget to see if the item is available elsewhere.

Blocked off sections include part of the Science Fiction, part of the 800's and 900's, and a portion of the 700's. Primary reason for this blockage is to remove a portion of the demountable wall in the new window area.
